Gourd decorated with linear pokerwork designs. It has a stopper with an anthropomorphic finial that has its pointed shaft inserted inside the vessel. The finial consists of a head and torso with a face with a sad expression and the arms bent at the elbow and the two hands held up close to the chest. The figure wears a red, yellow and white beaded necklace. Around the widest part of the gourd is a panel of lacy beadwork with beaded fringes hanging down The panel is tied underneath the object with string and it rests on a ring of wrapped fabric.
