Painted resin, fibreglass and copper cast of the maquette submitted for the Gandhi Memorial sculpture competition in Pietermartizburg, which Anton Momberg did not actually win. Purchased by the Cape Times Fresh Air Fund for presentation to the Iziko SA National Gallery. Many uneditioned castings of this sculpture in small and larger sizes exist in both resin and bronze.
