A Winchester 1866 lever action rifle, produced in the USA circa 1874.
Provenance
The rifle was manufactured in c.1874 in the U.S.A and was imported into South Africa in the late 1890's. The rifle had been in the possession of the Van Vuuren family for several generations, being passed down through inheritance, until it was purchased by Panzer Logistics. The rifle has no known links to any historical events of figures.
