Tshwane Strengthening Project

Amendment Request: Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is requesting the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) to approve the updated Environmental Management Programme (EMPr) for the Tshwane Strengthening Project Phase 1 (Construction of the Phoebus Substation and Apollo-Dinaledi Loop In Loop Out Power Line (DEA Reference No.: 12/12/20/1524) to comply with condition 22 of the Environmental Authorisation granted on 11 August 2010. The updated EMPr has been amended to reflect site specific information from a final walk-through of the infrastructure footprints which was conducted in September 2019.
