Proposal Description
We wish to renew our permit for the Swartkrans palaeoanthropological site (9/2/233/0012). Our proposed research will focus on revising the Swartkrans sedimentary formation and on-going excavations of the Member 1 Hanging Remnant, APS Cave (Swartkrans II), and in a newly discovered infill at the main site. The site of Swatkrans Cave is located outside of Krugerdorp, Gauteng Province.
