Siyanda Solar Power Plant (RF) (Pty) Ltd intends to develop a photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure on the Remaining Extent of Portion 1 of the Farm Grootdraai 468, Registration Division Viljoenskroon. The solar facility will have a generating capacity of up to 150MW. The town of Viljoenskroon is located approximately 30km east-southeast and the town of Orkney is located approximately 3km north -northwest of the proposed development. The total footprint of the project will be approximately 283 hectares (including supporting infrastructure on site).
