Coprolite inclusions

The aims of the project are to determine the taxonomic breadth of the organic inclusions in the coprolites including possible palynomorphs (e.g., fossil pollen and spores). The non-destructive microtomographic (Micro-CT) scanning done to study the other organic inclusions does not provide scans at high enough resolution to identify any potential palynomorphs. We therefore must make use of classic destructive palynological techniques to conduct a comprehensive analysis into any potential palynomorphs present.
