Proposal Description
Ugu District Municipality proposed the upgrading of the Malangeni/Esperanza Bulk Water Supply (BWS) pipeline within Ward 8 and 11, in Malangeni Reserve, Umzinto, Umdoni Local Municipality, within Catchment Quaternary Catchment U80H of Pongola- Pongola- Mtamvuma Water Management Area (WMA).
The proposed upgrading of 250mmø x 3.5km long steel rising main with capacity of 55ℓ/s from Esperanza pump station to Malangeni reservoirs complex, traverse the boundary of Ward 8 and 11, in Malangeni Reserve, Umzinto, Umdoni Local Municipality.
