Richmond cemetery

The proposed cemetery site is accessed off the R56 Road, and is located at GPS coordinates 29°53'47.66" S and 30°16'38.58" E. The property is approximately 445 ha in extent and comprises Eucalyptus timber, recreational fields, and the Richmond Country Club and golf course. There is an existing cemetery site which is surrounded by a fence, near to the recreational fields (See below). The property is surrounded by agricultural activities and the Ndaleni township, along with the Richmond landfill site and the Anderson’s filling station situated nearby.
