Brandvalley 132kV Powerline

Brandvalley Wind Farm (RF) (Pty) Ltd proposes to development the 140 megawatt (MW) Brandvalley Wind Energy Facility (WEF) between Matjiesfontein within the Western Cape Province. This line will be required to evacuate up to 140 megawatt (MW) of energy (via a 33/132kV on-site substation) from the proposed Brandvalley WEF. In terms of Condition 16 of the Environmental Authorisation (14/12/16/3/3/1/1591 - the EMPr was not approved and was required to be amended post micro-siting.
