Shemula and Makhanisi Rural Subsidised Housing Development

The proposed Shemula-Makhanisi Rural Housing Development is located within Wards 12, 13 and 23 of the Jozini Local Municipality, KwaZulu Natal and has a total extent of approximately 18 179.3 ha. The entirety of the site consists of rural / traditional dwellings interspersed with thickets and woodland. The project area also contains environmentally sensitive attributes such as rivers, drainage lines, NFEPA Wetlands and CBA: Optimal areas.
