The proposed River View Solar Plant project entails the construction of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) power plant to feed into the National Grid (Eskom), at the Remaining Extent of Portion 3 of the Farm Rietputs 15 Kimberly Rd, where the size of the property is approximately 300 Ha, however the footprint for the plant is approximately 182Ha (Section A-107Ha and Section B-75Ha). The site area falls within ward 4, Magareng Local Municipality, Frances Baard District Municipality in the Northern Cape Province, country South Africa
