Reclamation of the 4L 39 TSF

Ergo Mining (Pty) Ltd intends to reclaim and reprocess gold residue from the tailings storage facility (TSF), generally
referred to as slimes dam or mine dump, No. 4L39. This TSF is situated 3 km east of Germiston CBD, in the
City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (CoE) and was created prior to the promulgation of the
Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act No 28 of 2002) (MPRDA). This S&EIA process is being conducted for an EA to reclaim the TSF and will be confined to the extent of
the TSF No. 4L39, located on the Farm Driefontein 87 IR Portion 137 and Portion 1, Delmore Park, Gauteng, City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality
