Hartbeespoort Irrigation Channel off take

Sylvania is proposing to abstract water from the Hartbeespoort Irrigation Board Channel and pump the water to a new stroage dam located at the Phoenix TSF (TSF6B) . The pipeline will be located within the road reserve of the R555 before crossing the R555 to enter the servitude of a local access road. The pipeline will cross watercourses and delineated wetland areas. The proposed dam will have a capacity of 20 000 m3 with a footprint of approximately 1 ha. The activities take place in the Madibeng Local Municipality in the North West.
