Proposed Social Housing Development - Erf 174 of the Slang Spruit Township

The project area, made up of The project area, made up of Erf 174 of the Slang Spruit Township, is under the ownership of the Msunduzi Local Municipality and has a total extent of approximately 6.92 hectares. The project is a Greenfield Development and is situated within Ward 18 of the Msunduzi Local Municipality and is approximately 7.5 km south of Pietermaritzburg. The site is predominantly vacant with a residential dwelling situated on the south western portion of the site.

The proposed development will result in the clearance of vegetation for the construction of the following:
• Approximately 552 housing units
• Approximately 560 parking bays
• Construction of internal roads as well as stormwater infrastructure
