To refurbish and extend the water infrastructure for Colenso Town and the surrounding settlements as well as the bulk
water supply to Roosboom. The existing water supply to Colenso town is sporadic and the network
consists mainly of Asbestos pipes which has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be refurbished.
Further to this, several of settlements surrounding Colenso do not have any formalized water supply.
