The original Environmental Authorisation (EA) for the Paarde Valley PV2 solar energy facility on the
Remainder of Portion 2 of Paarde Valley 145, De Aar, Northern Cape Province was issued on 7 September
2012. Subsequent amendments to the validity period were made and the latest EA, issued on 3 August 2022,
extended the validity period of the EA up to 7 June 2023. A Part 1 EA Amendment Application for the extension of the validity of the Environmental Authorisation was submitted to the DFFE. Northern Cape Province.
