GP 30/5/1/1/2/10814 PR

The Lagom proposed Prospecting Right Area is within the Sidebeng Local Municipality, Lesedi Magisterial District. The site is located 8 km east of Nigel Town and about 14.2 km south-west of Heidelberg Town.
Lagom submitted an application for Prospecting Right that has been accepted by Department of Mineral Resources and Energy “DMRE”, with reference number: GP 30/5/1/1/2/10814 PR.
The prospecting right application is subject to a Basic Assessment Process as described in the EIA Regulations, 2014 (as amended).
In Summary, the Project relates to:
 The prospecting for coal, limestone and aggregate, which will be desktop-based, considering the existing available information.
 At least 5 boreholes may be drilled by the Applicant, though it is not planned at this stage.
 Existing farm roads and tracks made by the farmer(s) will be used to access various areas on the site if required for drilling and / or further studies if existing information proves insufficient.
