Proposal Description
The activity entails the development of an up to 240MW photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure on the Remaining Extent of the Farm Erasme No. 614, Remaining Extent of the Farm Ferrerias Rust No. 163, Remaining Extent and Portion 1 of Farm Zomersveld No.395 and Farm Gelukspan No. 394,situated within the Matjhabeng Local Municipal area of jurisdiction. The town of Henneman is located approximately 12 km southwest of the proposed development (refer to the attached locality map).
The project entails the generation of up to 240MW electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels. The total footprint of the project will approximately be 515 hectares (including supporting infrastructure on site).
