Proposal Description
Sibanye-Stillwater is planning to extend the life of mine at K4 Shaft with 30 years and is planning to construct additional infrastructure around the current Waste Rock Dump (WRD) footprint to contain the dirty water run-off from the WRD. The additional infrastructure includes the construction of a V-drain catchment berm, new Pollution Control Dam (PCD), a pipeline from the PCD to the shaft and an emergency spillway.
