PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEGA FISH LWAMONDO AQUACULTURE

The proposed project is located within Lwamondo Tribal area. Mega Fish Lwamondo Aquaculture is located within the rural village in the Thulamela Local Municipality, Vhembe District Municipality, Limpopo Province, in Dzwerani, which is 31.1 km away from Thohoyandou. Royal Mahematshena Mega Fish farm projects is aiming to breed and produce Mozambicus tilapia and other various fish. Intention is to supply the local and provincial market with high protein meat at low affordable cost. The farm will cultivate only male tilapia fish as they generating more production volume, due to the growth rate of male tilapia being more than female.
