High-Resolution Mapping of the Seafloor from Dassen Island to Danger Point

Use of multi-beam sonar to map the seafloor from Dassen Island to Danger Point. Certain bathymetric data will be shared the South African Council for Geoscience (CGS), the South African Navy Hydrographic office (SANHO) and the General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO), specifically relating to the Seabed 2030 Project. Ancillary high-resolution mapping of heritage sites and objects with probable historical and cultural significance within the defined area.
