Late 18th century early 19th century stinkwood Padouk Cape Dutch armoire. Top section has a moulded gable top with carved centre piece, and 2 carved side pieces. Armoire has 2 framed panel construction doors with shaped ebony moulding around frames. Bottom section has 2 graduated long drawers and 2 short drawers in bombe shaped base. Base has ebony moulding framing the canted corners the canted corners and shaped apron with an ebony centre carving. Armoire stands on shaped ogee legs.
