The project at hand involves a development servitude above that is stipulated in our Needs and Desirability criteria and as such a Heritage Impact Assessment is required to circumvent the destruction of heritage resources within the area. You are therefore required to secure the services of an Amafa accredited Heritage Practitioner to assess the area and provide relevant mitigation measures. The list of accredited heritage specialists/ Cultural Resources Managers is on the Amafa website www.heritagekzn.co.za. You may also refer to Amafa application forms (such as the J-Needs & Desirabilities form) on the Amafa website to familiarize yourself with regulations and to identify the nature of your development.
