Interim comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit reviewed the Scoping Report and accepts the recommendations therein. As such, the SAHRA APM Unit will provide further comment on the application once a phase 1 HIA, conducted by a qualified specialist, is submitted to SAHRA. Additionally, the Scoping and EIA reports and appendices must be submitted. Comments on built structures older than 60 years must be applied for at Heritage Free State.
It was noted that the figures referenced in the text have not been added to the PIA. An amended version of the PIA that includes the figures must be submitted to SAHRA.
