Interim CommentThe SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) notes the submission of the HIA and Scoping Report, however the proposed township development is partially located in a Very High palaeontological sensitive zone. According to the SAHRIS palaeomap policy, a field based impact assessment of palaeontological resources is required. The field based Palaeontologial Impact Assessment (PIA) must be undertaken by a suitably qualified palaeontologist.SAHRA will comment on the application once the PIA is submitted to the case and if a finalised township plan is available it must be submitted to the case.
