Interim Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit requests confirmation from the heritage specialist on whether the power line corridor has been assessed. The tracklog map indicates that the author did not survey the power line corridor. If the author of the HIA has undertaken a field survey of the area, then the tracklog map must be amended to reflect this or further motivation in the report must be provided as to why there is no tracklog of the power line corridor.
Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the requested clarification and the submission of the draft EIA report and its appendices.
