Interim Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit is not satisfied with the coverage of the site visit conducted as part of the HIA. SAHRA requests that a more comprehensive site assessment be conducted and the results of which are to be included in a revised HIA.
Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the revised HIA. The applicant is advised to extend the EA process in terms of section 23(1) of the NEMA EIA Regulations in order to address this comment.
