Interim CommentThe Development Applications Unit (DAU) notes the submission of the HIA report however the development is located in a area of Very High palaeontological significance according to the SAHRIS palaeomap (https://sahris.sahra.org.za/map/palaeo). A suitably qualified palaeontologist must be appointed to undertake a palaeontological assessment. A report of the assessment must be submitted to the case.All the environmental and town planning documents must be uploaded to the case along with the palaeontological assessment.
