Interim CommentThe Development Applications Unit (DAU) notes the submitted HIA report however, the study area is in a region of moderate palaeo-sensitivity as seen on the SAHRIS palaeomap (https://sahris.sahra.org.za/map/palaeo). The SAHRA requires a desktop assessment of palaeontological resources by a suitably qualified palaeontologist must be undertaken and the report must be submitted to the case for commenting.The SAHRA will provide further comments once the report is submitted to the case.
