A bronze land cannon manufactured by Manuel Bocarro in Macoa, China, bearing the remains of the crest of Macoa, being a rampant lion with a crown on its head, between the dolphin-shaped lifting handles and the touch hole. In front of the handles there are two trunnions for mounting the cannon and at the decorated back end there is a cascabel. The total length of the cannon is 3 910 mm and the greatest circumference (near the touch hole) is 1 559 mm and the smallest (near the mouth) 817 mm. The diameter of the bore is 136 mm. The cannon is located at 23 Rocklands Road, Beacon Bay, East London.
