The so-called Jan Smuts Study, consisting of the contents of General Smuts's Study at Doringskloof, including the books, articles of furniture, cartoons, photographs, miscellaneous pamphlets, cuttings and various other objects that are housed in the Jan Smuts House at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, in the care of the Smuts Memorial Trust in terms of the Deed of Trust D.70/58.
An inventory of all objects and a catalogue of all books have geen lodged at the offices of the above-mentioned institute and the National Monuments Council at 127 Bree Street, Cape Town.
