This property, which is situated on the coast in the so-called Duineveld and on which large numbers of milk-wood trees are found, is of considerable importance both as a natural resource and from the point of view of ecology. There are also four historic buildings in the vernacular style on the property which form an imposing architectural complex. The oldest house dates from the middle of the eighteenth century and is built partly from wood salvaged from wrecks, which is probably unique.
