Statement of Significance

This koppie of concentrated orbicules is of indisputed scientific value in the study of rock types in the earth's crust. These orbicules are typically dioritic with a pegmatitic matrix and show signs of indentation and flattening. The koppie outcrops in the Archaean Complex, Kheis System, and is possibly of metamorphosed origin.
