Statement of Significance

According to the guide followed by the recorders, the site has high significance. Due to the foreseen potentail danger the following conservation recommendations are made: • The cemetery should be fenced in by SAN Parks, and should be designed to keep burrowing
animals away from the graves.
• In accordance with SANParks policy, family members should undertake any maintenance at
the cemetery. The site will be monitored once every twelve months.
