    Site History

There is limited site history available, judging by architectural detailing the heritage farm buildings were built approximately 100 years ago. The site was reported used to farm maize and asparagus. In 2007 the site was purchased by Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary that takes care of big cats such as lion, tiger and leopard etc. that have been rescued from unsuitable zoo environments mainly in Europe.
