Mining Permit Area - Vuurfontein 117 HO

Mining Permit for: Diamonds (Alluvial) (DA) on 5 Ha. The area will be mined through opencast excavations where the diamond gravel will be removed with an excavator or frond end loader onto the tipper trucks and taken to the processing area where it will be put through a washing pan for processing. Rough out of the pan and over size stones will be taken back to the excavation for backfilling and the wet puddle will be pumped directly into open excavations. Diamond gravel will be sorted and recovered by hand.
