Provenance

Brian Gilfillan bought the bronze bust from Gaze Gallery, Ramsgate, South Coast Natal, South Africa in the late 1900’s. It was previously owned by the Crookes family who were involved in the sugar industry on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. It has been inherited by the present owner Andrew Gilfillan.
