Interim Comment

SAHRA requests that application specific assessment of the impact to heritage resources be undertaken. A field-based HIA and a desktop-based PIA must be undertaken by a qualified archaeologist and palaeontologist as part of the EA process. SAHRA advises the applicant to extend the EA process in terms of section 19(1)b of the NEMA EIA regulations in order to address this comment.
