Interim Comment

SAHRA notes the submitted reports and requests the following information:

• Granted EA with Final EIA;
• Clarification regarding expansion of mining activities closer than 2 km from the site 9 complex;
• Clarity regarding site access i.e. owner/s of the property sites 9, WVL2 and WVL3 are located on. 

SAHRA awaits the permit application for site 15 in terms of section 36 of the NHRA (separate process). 

The author of the Rock Art specialist study may nominate Site 9 for grading purposes (https://www.sahra.org.za/heritage-protection/). Please see form at the bottom of this webpage for the nomination procedure.
