    Singo Consulting (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as an independent Environmental Assessment Practioner by Goedehoop Boerdery en Mynbou (Pty) Ltd to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Compile a Basic Assessment Report (BAR), Compile an Environmental Management Programme report (EMPr) and undertake Public Participation Process (PPP). This is done for processes of acquiring Environmental Authorization for the proposed mining permit application of Coal, Pseudocoal, Torbanite/ Oil Shale on Portion 13 of the farm Goedehoop 106 IT, Situated in the Magisterial District of Ermelo in Mpumalanga Province.

      The application covers an area totaling 5 hectares and is situated on Portion 13 of Farm Goedehoop 106 IT, located approximately 10.3 kilometers northeast of Chrissiesmeer. The farm encompasses numerous trees, yet deforestation is currently underway within the proposed project site. The nearest formal settlement to the application area is Miss Chrissies Country House, situated approximately 8 kilometers northeast of the site. Access to the proposed area is via a gravel road that extends from the National Road N17.
