    Proposal Description
The building will require a completely new roof structure, covered with new corrugated metal sheeting, including the replacement of the existing verandahs. The remaining plastered walls will have to be stripped of all plaster, to facilitate the repointing of the existing brickwork walls to achieve stability, (to mitigate the loss of structural stability due to years of exposure to inclement weather). Where necessary new walls will be constructed to tie into the existing walls to form the new functional spaces. The new concrete surface beds will be demolished and carted away. The new subfloor fill will be removed to the original levels to reestablish the subfloor ventilation. New masonry piers on new stub foundations will be built to support new suspended, reinforced concrete floor slab. All doors and windows will be new timber units to match the original. All electrical and sanitary services will be chased into the walls. All new rainwater goods.
