Interim Comment

SAHRA requests that an HIA and desktop PIA be conducted for the reclamation of the historic dumps. The mine itself is protected by the NHRA as it is over 100 years old, and South Africans mining heritage is significant. Additionally, heritage resources may have been buried by the activities.

Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above requested reports and the DEIA inclusive of appendices.
