RELOCATION OF 25 GRAVES FROM MOGALAKWENA MINE, WITHIN THE MOGALAKWENA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY AND WATERBERG DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, LIMPOPO PROVINCE – BATCH 8

PGS Heritage has been appointed by Anglo American Platinum’s (AAP) Mogalakwena Mine to affect the relocation of graves located on the Farm Zwartfontein 818 LR, near Mokopane, Limpopo Province. This application deals with twenty-five (25) graves located on the Farm Zwartfontein 818 LR which will be affected by mining activities within the Mogalakwena project area. The graves are to be moved to existing formal cemeteries or informal traditional areas. We will be assisted on this project by local service providers. The Traditional Authorities are also consulted in the process. This application has the support of both the AAP and the Mapela Traditional Leadership, with varying degrees of consensus from the Next-of-Kin (NoK).
