Proposal Description
Two (2) new 22kV powerlines needs to be constructed from the existing Kimberley Distribution Substation to the existing RCC Indoor substation. Both new lines will be one (1) kilometer in length. The property (Portion 10 of Dorstfontein 77) on which the lines will be constructed is owned by Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd. Three hundred and thirteen meters (313m) of the new powerlines will be cabled underground through the existing Eskom store yard.
