Proposal Description
The Applicant, Genesis Eco Developments, is proposing the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy facility (known as the Remark PV Facility) located on Portion 0 of Farm Thelma No. 104 and Portion 2 of Farm Eva No. 127 approximately 1 km outside of the town of Odendaalsrus along the urban edge, within the Free State province. The solar PV facility will comprise several arrays of PV panels and associated infrastructure and will have a contracted capacity of up to 150 MW. The development area is situated within the Matjhabeng Local Municipality within the Lejweleputswa District Municipality.
