Proposal Description
Ilitha Telecommunications commenced with the Ilitha Mdantsane Wards 20 and 48 fibre optic project upon receipt of exemption from an EIA/EA from DEDEAT on 22 July 2024. Development was subsequently ceased and the NHRA 1999 Section 38(1) process initiated. ECPHRA requested an HIA to meet heritage compliance requirements for the project before development resumes.
