The Keiskammahoek Irrigation Scheme is located in a rural farming community approximately 40km from Qonce (King Williams Town) in the Eastern Cape and supplies water to 757 hectares (ha) of irrigable land, which is farmed either by the local community or to the benefit of the local community. The pipelines associated with the scheme are intended for farming / irrigation and for domestic use.
