PHASE 1: HERITAGE AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED PROSPECTING ACTIVITIES ON REMAINING EXTENT OF PORTION 25 OF THE FARM KLIPBULT 25JP, SITUATED WITHIN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT OF ZEERUST, NORTH WEST PROVINCE

OMI 3D (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as OMI) has lodged an application to the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) for a prospecting right, to prospect for the following minerals; Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Platinum Group Elements (PGM) Rare Earths, and Magnesite in terms of Section 16 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resource Development Act, 28 of 2002 (MPRDA). The project is located on RE of Farm Klipbult 25 JP within the Magisterial district of Zeerust. The application was accepted and assigned reference number: NW30/5/1/1/2/14645 PR.
The proposed prospecting activities will be undertaken over a period of five (5) years and the activities will be conducted in progressive phases which include Non-invasive and invasive methods. The Non-invasive method will include desktop studies and geological mapping, whereas Invasive methods will include drilling and sampling.
