The Orange River Solar Facility 1 (Pty) Ltd (ORSF1) is developing a 50 MW photovoltaic (PV) solar plant on Portion 18 of the farm Rooisand No.387, near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape province. This project includes the construction of the solar plant and associated infrastructure, such as an IPP substation, inverter stations, maintenance buildings, and internal access roads. The development will contribute to new renewable energy capacity to the national electricity grid near Groblershoop, Northern Cape Province.
